As our practice expands, you may be asked to see another physician or nurse practitioner in our office.

Dr. Narayan would LOVE to see each and every patient, but unfortunately the time is not available. Alongside his hospital schedule, Dr. Narayan will continue to see New Patients and Complex Cases in the Plano Office on Monday and Tuesday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm and in our Fort Worth Office on Thursday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

Dr. Khalid and our Nurse Practitioners are available Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 4:30pm to help with all of your needs.

Understanding the relationship between a Board Certified Psychiatrist (M.D.) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

The role of the a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is to assess, diagnose and treat the mental health needs of patients under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Psychiatrist.

Like a Board Certified Psychiatrist, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner’s provide therapy and prescribe medications for patients who have mental health disorders or substance abuse problems. They may also provide physical and psychosocial assessments, emergency psychiatric care and treatment effectiveness evaluations.

The Nurse Practitioner is under the supervision of the Psychiatrist, providing guidance and is available for consultation at all times.
